Alongside the governors of the Central Bank of Jordan and the Central Bank of Palestine, Dr. Ziad Khalaf Abd, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Development Bank, spoke during one of the sessions of the Middle East and North Africa Information and Communications Technology Forum held at the International Conference Center in the Dead Sea, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

His talk focused on the significant development of the Iraqi banking sector and the promising opportunities that are being realized day by day, which are reflected in the rising financial inclusion rates in Iraq. He also discussed banking and financial services, as well as the adoption of infrastructure and the introduction of advanced systems to continuously improve the quality of banking services and develop electronic payment systems in accordance with the legal regulations under the umbrella of the Central Bank of Iraq.
