International Development Bank Supports Schools with Smart Screens to Enhance Education Sector
In a significant move to develop the education sector in Iraq, the International Development Bank launched an initiative to equip 22 schools across Iraq with smart screens.
This initiative aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Mohamed Shiaa al-Sudani to support the education sector, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education led by Minister Ibrahim Namis al-Jubouri, and with close follow-up from Dr. Ziad Khalaf Abd, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Development Bank.
The smart screens were installed in schools under the Directorate of Education in Baghdad, Basra, Mosul, Anbar, Karbala, and Najaf. This is considered a vital investment in the educational process, opening new horizons for enhancing teaching methods and making the learning experience more modern and relevant to the needs of the current generation.
The bank didn’t stop at simply providing the smart screens but also organized specialized training workshops for school staff to explain how to operate these screens, making it easier for teachers to deliver lessons effectively to students.
This initiative aims to create digital classrooms that align with the latest global educational technologies, supporting the educational journey in Iraq and reinforcing our responsibility toward our community and beloved students.
We are proud today of the achievements made, thanks to the sincere efforts of all those involved, especially Dr. Ziad Khalaf Abd, and their unwavering commitment to achieving the highest standards of quality in this field.
